Celebrating Diversity

I learnt to express myself without using my mouth. I learnt that everyone have different ways of expressing themselves. I learnt the different birthdays of my friends.
I enjoyed expressing myself without using my mouth. I enjoyed the part when Mrs Lew ask who like to eat what.
I can learn about the different cultures.

Chapter 4: Algebra Puzzle

  • Let k represents pumpkin
  • Let s represents star
  • Let p represents pen
  • 2p + 2k = 56
  • p + 2k = 53
  • 2p + 2k = p + 2k + 56 - 53
  • 2p + 2k = p + 2k + 3
  • 2p = p + 3
  • p = 3
  • Therefore, p = 3
  • 2p + s = 36
  • 2p = 3 x 2
  • 2p = 6
  • 6 + s = 36
  • s = 30
  • Therefore, s = 30
  • s + k + p = 58
  • 30 + k + 3 = 58
  • k = 25
  • Therefore, k = 25
In conclusion, each pumpkin represents 25, each star represents 30 and each pen represents 3.

Chapter 4: Algebra Puzzle

  • Let d represents drum
  • Let c represents clock
  • Let p represents pen
  • 3p = 48
  • p = 48/3
  • Therefore, p is 16
  • Since 2p + c = 46
  • 2p = 16 x 2 =32
  • 46 = 2p + c
  • 46 = 32 + c
  • 14 = c
  • Therefore, c is 14
  • Since 2p + d = 34
  • 2p = 16 x 2 =32
  • 34 = 2p + d
  • 34 = 32 + d
  • 2 = d
  • Therefore, d is 2
In conclusion, each pen represents 16, each clock represents 14 and each drum represents 2.

A place that I went during the school holidays!

View Taiwan Shihlin Night Market Tour in a larger map. My family and I shopped around the place and ate steam boat with fermented bean curd. It was delicious!!!

Wishes on the Wall

Wall wisher allows us to post our point of view and others can view. However, you cannot exceed the limitation of 160 letters including punctuations and spacings. In learning activities or CCA, students can post their comments and opinions in the wall wisher and do not need to stand in front of the whole class and be embarrassed to voice out their opinions. Students also do not need to be at a same location at the the same time to discuss about their projects but they can be at different locations using wall wisher to discuss.

What I Use

I like Facebook the most as you can send emails, play games, chat with friends, post texts and pictures with no limit, etc. It is also user friendly and there is a step by step guide for new users.:) Sorry, but my picture have some problems :(

MY HOUSE TO SST :)

Apart from the suggested routes, Google Maps also provide the estimated time taken to reach your school so that you will not be late for classes. Since Google Maps are used over the world it should be highly reliable and it is user friendly.

MY EXPERIENCE!!!

It was quite a easy task creating a blog since I had created one when I was 7 with my brother. However, this time I found out the other ads and uses to it. One of the uses is that it can serve as an learning experience as children can use it as a diary and write their homework to remind themselves and teachers can check on the students easily through the blog.

O.O I GOT IN!!!!???

I chose this picture because I was shocked to get in as the DSA test 1 English paper questions were quite hard. However, I am elated to get into SST as I liked science and technology alot and I can excel in this two areas when I am in SST. :)
